World Children’s Day is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide and improving children’s welfare.

   OERR Mae Hong Son supported the Child Rights Campaign activities held in Ban Mai Nai Soi and Ban Mae Surin Temporary Shelters in November 2022.

   On November 11, 2022, essay and painting competition, etc., were organized in Ban Mae Surin temporary shelter, in which 150 children of 73 females and 77 males participated.

   In Ban Mai Nai Soi temporary shelter, outdoor sports competition of volleyball, caneball and football were held on November 19, 2022 with 119 participants of 72 females and 47 males; and on November 26, 2022, with 51 participants of 29 females and 22 males.

   Feedback from the children about Children’s Day activities was that children enjoyed all activities and enthusiastically took part in these competitions. They also expressed their special thanks for organizing all activities offered to them on the occasion of the Children’s Day.
